2025 - A Year in Review

A Year of Momentum and Community

Path Pending Began in April 2025

Path Pending began as a simple idea to create a space that bridges the gaps that make transition so hard: isolation throughout the process, knowledge of best practices or next steps, and permission to let go of perfection. It is a place that welcomes people navigating transition without trying to fix them, rush them, or package their stories into something tidy.

As we say again and again - We welcome all detours!

This year, people found Path Pending organically, shared it intentionally, and stayed with the stories. We saw the demand for honest narratives about work, identity, burnout, pause, and reinvention that lean into community resilience, allow for unique journeys, and do not pretend the answers are obvious.

Path Pending Reached Audiences Across the World

Stories traveled person to person, not just platform to platform. The site became less of a destination and more of a connector.

Readers showed up from around the world (53 countries to be exact!).

Growth did not look like volume alone. It looked like depth. Readers spent time with stories. They finished them. They reached out privately. They recognized themselves in someone else’s words and shared that recognition forward.

Path Pending Stories and Topics Resonated

These stories did more than resonate, because Path Pending is not about reinvention theater, it is about lived experiences that make the path of transition a little less lonely.

Our top three stories from this year:

Eff the Title, Not the Mission with Manny Toro, challenged the idea that professional identity begins and ends with a job title. It resonated with readers who are learning how to hold onto purpose while letting go of labels.

From Burnout to Breakthrough with Chelsea Chludzinski, surfaced the quiet moment many people experience long before a breaking point. It resonated with readers who were ready to finally name their exhaustion and make change possible.

Stepping Away to Step Into Herself with Lisa Manning, reflected the courage required to choose alignment over momentum. It resonated with readers who want to take a step back, not as retreat, but as a power pause.

As a result, Path Pending moved from being a collection of stories to becoming a community shaped by them - a LinkedIn Community to be specific.

What Comes Next?

As we close this year, gratitude sits at the center of everything we’ve built. We’re thankful for every person who shared their story with us, every email or direct message of resonance, and every reader who chose to stay curious during a season of change.

Together, you helped transform Path Pending from an idea into a growing community rooted in honesty, support, and forward motion. As we look ahead, the work continues - with the launch of our Field Guide, the growth of our LinkedIn community for people in transition, and new resources designed to bring grounding, clarity, and connection to moments of uncertainty. The next chapter of Path Pending is already taking shape.
